How do I update my billing and/or shipping information?
For Pay Once Subscriptions, just send us an email with the new address to [email protected] and we’ll send you confirmation once we’ve made the update.
For Pay Monthly Subscriptions, the easiest way to update your billing or shipping information is to click on the link at the top of the email receipt you received when you purchased your sock subscription. This is also the same email that comes to your inbox every month. Just look for the “Update your billing information” hyperlink and click there!
And you can always send us an email at [email protected] with questions. We’ll make sure to get you taken care of real nice.
How long will it take for my socks to arrive?
We process new orders right away. So you’ll get your socks within six to eight business days after purchase if you live in the United States. International delivery times vary, and can take up to three weeks (or longer, depending on how far away you live) depending on a crapload of factors beyond our control.
I don’t live in the U.S. Can I still subscribe?
Yes! We offer international shipping! A cause for celebration around the world. Shipping is just $3 USD per pair to any country worldwide.
How do I get more than one pair of socks per month?
Grow more feet! Lolz jk. If one pair of Foot Cardigans just isn’t enough for you, add another Pay Monthly or Pay Once Subscription to your cart. And don’t worry about getting two of the same design. Each pair in your monthly shipment will be different.
I have a subscription and want to switch to a new sock style. How do I do that?
You’re now our favorite person ever because we couldn’t WAIT to answer that question. So, here’s how it goes. If you have a Pay Monthly Subscription, you’ll have to cancel your current subscription and then purchase a new one for whatever style you’d like. If you have a Pay Once Subscription, you won’t be able to switch sock styles because of trivial things like sock inventory. But you can always buy a new sock subscription! How awesome would it be to get double the Foot Cardigan every month? Eh? EH?! And always know we’re just an email away at [email protected] if you need more info.
Why do the Pay Once socks cost more per month than the Pay Monthly ones?
This is an awesome question. The simple answer is “because shipping.” With a Pay Once Subscription, you pay for all the shipping up front, which makes them seem more expensive, but they’re really not.
Some designs fit/feel different than others. Why why WHY?
Different designs call for different amounts of thread. We use the same material blend and weight in our socks, but the more intricate the design, the more thread will be used. This gives the sock a thicker and sometimes different feel, purely because of the amount of thread used to make the sock.
Can I buy a subscription for someone else?
But of course! You can choose to pay monthly and send them socks every month for as long as you want to keep paying. Or you can pay once and send them socks for 3, 6, 9, or 12 months. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS. (actually, there are just two possibilities)
Wait. So does random mean the socks I get won’t match?
What we mean by “random” is that the pair you get will be unexpected and you don’t get to choose it. But our sock designers could always get real cray and make something that doesn’t match.
Will my socks arrive on the same day every month?
You’ll get your socks around the same time every month, give or take a few days. See our Shipping and Delivery Policy to learn more.
What are your socks made of?
Our socks are made of 75% combed cotton, 22% polyester, and 3% elastene. Our Tip Tops — our luxury socks — are made of 80% modal, 17% polyester, and 3% elastene. All of our socks are 100% delightful.
How do I care for my Foot Cardigans?
After your first tender moments together, machine wash them in cold water with like colors. Line dry. And don’t rip the tag off like a savage. Snip it delicately with scissors. Then let your Foot Cardigans caress your feet for ages to come.
How do I know what size to get?
Here’s how our sizing works for our different adult styles:

Our kids’ socks are sized by age range. Here’s how that works:
Our socks are super stretchy and fit a wide variety of feet. If you get some that don’t fit, just send them back to us and we’ll replace ‘em. Get specific instructions in our Return Policy.
Why do you measure the kids’ socks by age instead of size?
Not even a certified member of Mensa understands how kids’ shoes and sock sizing works. And since socks can stretch and whatnot, we just decided to assign a rough age range to which they’ll usually fit. If your child has small or large feet, let us know and we’ll make sure they get the right size.
What if I don’t like the socks I get?
Not possible. Never going to happen. You will love them and you will wear them and your life will be better because of them. But if you really don’t like the socks you get, we suggest giving them to someone as a gift or making a sock puppet since we don’t accept exchanges. It’s part of the beauty of randomness, y’know?
How do I cancel my subscription?
Well, boo. Can we still be friends? All you have to do is email us and we’ll take care of it. See our Cancellation and Refund Policies for more specific info.
- For monthly subscribers, we’ll continue to charge your credit card and send socks to you every month until you cancel your subscription.
- To cancel, simply click on the cancel link in the email you received after purchase and then confirm your sad wish to cancel. Or send us an email at [email protected] to let us know you want to cancel.
- If you cancel by email, please include the following info: Your name, subscription type, and the address where you receive your socks. That way, we’ll be sure to cancel only your subscription and not one you may have sent as a gift.
- We’ll stop sending socks the month immediately following your cancellation request.
- We must receive your cancellation 48 hours before subscription renewal to cancel your subscription the following month. If we receive your cancellation less than 48 hours before subscription renewal, then you will be charged for the following month and your subscription will be cancelled the month after.
Why does the Whippersnappers kids’ sock subscription cost more than the adult subscription?
Because their feet are inexplicably sweaty 95% of the time and it’s weird and they should have to pay more based on that fact alone. Actually, the kiddos get two pairs of socks each month instead of only one. That’s why the little socks cost just a little more.
I have a promo code. How do I use it?
Enter your promo code in the cart section of checkout where it says “Add a Coupon.” Then watch as dollar$ di$appear from your total.
